Having just arrived in Avoca today, I have found this really great camping spot along side the river. Found it on Wiki camps. Large area so no need to crowd anyone in. toilets just through under the bridge along a walkway.

Short walk to town with some neat shops to explore. Tables and seating, no other amenities. Lots of bird life.

great little spot there. The dump point is over near the caravan park on the outside of the park. Has the river gone back down yet?
