We did the Gibb in 2013. We suffered a bit of damage but nothing major. Like Dunmowin said, watch the cartons of milk. We had 10 cartons on board and arrived at Drysdale Station with most of them leaking. I went around the camp offering cartons of milk. The next day I was known as "the milkman". You should be quite alright with your rig, I would suggest you contact Sunland and get their advice on appropriate tyre pressures, then you have something to back you up if you have major problems. From memory the Patriot is a pretty hard core off road van. We left our van at Drysdale and took a tent out to Mitchell Falls and then on to Kalumbaru, Has your cruiser had a lift? I would advise it if you are going to do more hard core dirt roads which the Gibb is.
