Hi All,

Has anyone travelled the Mt Imlay road recently ,I will be travelling from Boydtown nsw to Bombala and don't really want to go back via the Brown Mountain.

Van is 2t on a Dmax 2015.

LOTS of logging trucks use that road, care required! If you have UHF tune in. We're in that area at the moment.

Sealed road all the way. Probably quite a few potholes on it, especially after the recent rains we have had. Undulating country until you hit the Monaro highway, and then it is a long, steep climb up to the top of the range. From then on it is a doddle to Bombala. The road is reasonably straight all the way.

Nothing wrong with that road. The log trucks are usually well behaved. The worst traffic I have seen along it was when bush-fires closed the Monaro Hwy just south of Bombala. I was crook that day ant the navigator (who only drives in emergencies) negotiated the road OK.
