There have been a few companies selling similar looking cookers and water heaters at various outdoors shows for a while now. The Go Sun seems very expensive for what it is though. Would be great for cooking snags not sure how you'd fit a T Bone in one though lol

One big problem - they rely on full sun exposure to operate. Cloudy or rainy day forget it. Daylight hours only as well.
The Grass Roots magazine back in the 70's was full of similar cookers and dehydrators which you could make yourself.
The one in the link is a slick design........thanks for posting.

It will only operate in daylight hours - cannot work before or after daylight. Moonlight ain't no good!

Regards

EDIT definition of daylight = light from the sun.

Sounds like the baby q and gas from a bottle will be safe then.............. Not much point in carrying around several things the can do a similar task.....
