hi there, we have an Avan M5 Ovation. It has a floor access to the fresh water tank, from inside. Not sure if this is common, normal because we are pretty much total newbs.
My question is: if camped somewhere with no capacity to bring a home to the van (we are in this situation for a month) is it ok/advisable to top up the fresh water with a bucket, via this access? I think it's there so you can put in water treatment tablets, for example.
i have been carrying away greywater by bucket because we can't outlet via hose here either. It's not a big deal. I don't mind carrying a few buckets of water.
Anyone have any clue if there is a reason I shouldn't bucket in as well?

Welcome to the gang Allirah, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I see no reason why you couldn't if the floor access has direct access to the fresh water tank. Naturally fill with care and maybe even use a watering can with the spout removed. If you have a small portable pump you could even use that.
Keep Safe on the roads.
