Only WISH I could be in Sheffield for Christmas. I have put a deposit on a place there and settlement occurs on 15 January. Will be over there as soon as the furniture van man can get a spot on The Spirit (after 15 Jan) to pick up my worldly possessions and take me there. I love the town and it is so welcoming to newcomers. Have bought a place on four acres so will be happy to have visits from GN's once I'm settled in (except for 19/20th Feb when the Country Music Festival is on in Smithton). Have a great Christmas everyone - mine will be spent de-cluttering! .... Cheers, Val    biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

hi val , congratulations on your purchase . I've been in Tassie since late October this year and I'm in a m/home with trailer . I want to experience winter and then consider staying here permanently. in other words , I'm over the heat of the mainland . I've done the north & west coast of Tassie and in Sheffield now . hope the next couple of weeks flys for you , Mark .
