2013 BT 50 ute

Finally, after about an 18 month wait, Mazda have fixed the warranty defect with the drivers seat going down all the time. So far so good. Better late than never I suppose.

Cheers

G'day Tamey. It was a warranty defect reported to my dealer. When the factory solved the problem the new parts eventually arrived they had to remove the seat and replace the faulty unit.

Have you reported your defect? If so they should be in touch. If you need any more info do not hesitate to contact.

Cheers

I have a Ford Ranger 2012 XL with the same issue. Next service I will insist it gets fixed. I reported it 2 days from delivery in 2013.

Thanks for the heads up.

Cheers

G'day. Yes mate they had the same problem. I don't know if this is the truth but I was advised that they started fixing the Fords first. I did not wait until next service. Had it done as soon as Mazda customer service advised it was available. Even then my local dealer tried to say a fix was not ready yet. Good luck

Cheers

I've just booked my BT 50 in for a service and mentioned the drivers seat yet again expecting the old, familiar reply that Mazda were aware of the problem but didn't have a fix. I was surprised when the guy said they could fix it and noted it on whatever it is they record work to be done. Hopefully we won't have to keep raising the driver's seat all the time after next Tuesday :)
