Toying with the idea of a slide on with dunny and shower  I want to hire a complete rig for a weekend or a week to suck it and see  Anyone have any idea where I could hire one for a short haul to see if the two of us can live together in a small space.   Wish me luck with that .

 

 I'm on the Mid North Coast of NSW but travel to pick it up isn't a problem so long as it's not Perth or Darwin

Never seen a hire slide-on.
And having owned one for 12 years, I would not recommend one to others.
Most are overloaded unless on an F250 or larger capacity truck.

I have and am using my own self built slid on.You need at least a one ton rated ute or , as I have done , have extra springs in the back.I have an 02 ford courier turbodiesel ute which is adequate, but more power would be nice .I have a toilet( porta potty), but no inside shower.Never seen a hire slide on. . Out side shower tents are good but tedious.I think a caravan with onsuite would be better, and you get to leav the van and go away. Its up to you.Bill
