If you haven't already bought a single, consider getting a pair - we also have a single axle, but have used the pair on very uneven sites with the 2nd one as a stabiliser or wedge to stop slippage. The 2nd one can also sometimes come in handy as a booster or chock for the jockey wheel. Storage space for two is not that much greater than one. If you really do only want one, maybe find someone to share the pair with??

Murray the second ramp can be useful sometimes to lift up the rear/side of the tug.

Thanks for the replies. There are some pros to buying a pair of ramps that I hadn't thought of before. My thinking was that I would only need to raise one side of the van.

Jack (Wobblynut) I hadn't thought of Super Cheap. I'll check them out during next week.

John (Rockylizard) I did check Caravans Plus (who are only about ten kilometres away) but missed the one and only single ramp they have.

So far I haven't found anything suitable on eBay but will keep looking.

But at least I now know that single ramps are out there!

My reply was poorly worded - I meant that out of the dozen or so different types of levellers they had, only one was offered as a single. All the rest were all sold as a pair.

Get a pair,

Sometimes the van & tug are facing down hill and if you do not want to take the tug off simply put the ramps under the tugs back wheels and if facing uphill under the tugs front wheels. There are many uses for the ramps including leveling the step at the door.

Go down to a timber merchant who will do cut lengths of pine timber. Get them to cut you a 1200 or 1500 mm length of 140 x 35 treated pine. You support one end on one or two blocks of timber. You then reverse or pull your van wheel up on to this ramp just a little more than needed to level the van. you place a block of timber in front of the wheel and then release the brakes to let the van roll down onto the block. This will level the van and chock the wheel in one go. This will be cheaper than those plastic blocks.
