Don't know him - but last year saw a guy hitchhiking in Katherine, heading north - tall, very tanned, bald, very fit looking, duffle bag at his feet, sneakers and - wait for it - YELLOW G STRING!!!!!!!!

Couple of other GN's saw him in other places as well, so he obviously gets lifts!!!

Denis - Hako - you were one of the GN's I mentioned in my post - Coober Pedy wasn;t it? Think Dougwe saw him out near Charters Towers as well.

But the more you travel, the better sights you see - this one for instance, going back over the Nullarbor, last year - edit = sorry don't know how to turn it round
