We stay at 5 ways caravan park at Dingley Village, very easy to get boat. Very clean, no frills.

A lot of people park illegally overnight in the many car-parks among the tea-tree on the Port Phillip Bay foreshore all along Beach Rd South of Beaconsfield Parade. We see them all the time. No-one seems to take much notice of them. whisper.gif

Werribee South is about 30-40 minutes away from Ferry terminal. Ashley Gardens is a bit closer and the one we usually leave. We head back to Western Ring Road onto the Westgate freeway and come in that way, a bit longer but easier to navigate. They do have drive through sites allowing for quick getaway if you stay hooked up.

A link from my blog that shows another link to map. Hpoe this helps

Have seen lots camped on The Boulevard, Sandridge Beach, which is only about 5k from the ferry terminal - you get to it from Todd Road, both ends. Don't park anywhere on Beaconsfield Parade, costs a fortune and grey ghosts checking often.

If you will be stopping at Geelong it's only an hour of so up the freeway from there see this link.

We just booked into Rockbank, about a 30 min drive to the ferry. It's on Western Highway so straight in mostly.
