A few of our GNs have stayed at this camp and found it very good. I have arrived here today and must admit it is very relaxing.

Balranald has all the services and amenities you would need for an extended stay here as there is no time limit at Mamanga.
This camp is only 9km south of Balranald along a sealed road to the camp access road which is 2km of red dirt to the campground.
This road, and the roads within the campground would be a problem in the wet and the signed advice is that if in the camp when it rains, stay put until it dries out.
There is a very new drop toilet, shiny corrugated iron walls/roof and concrete floor, with a tank to provide hand washing water (not for drinking though)
Caravans are in a separate area to tent campers and there is plenty of space and shade for all.
No dump point but one is in Balranald.. Grey water is not controlled.
No concerns possum there is plenty of space and no need to be under any of those big trees - all camps are very open - even up close to the river bank.
Cheers - John

It is an excellent spot John .. I've spent many hours in the area. How many isolated bush camps have their own solar-powered toilet lighting .. ?
For those that wish to avoid the campground itself, there are many great little camp-spots that are accessible from the road in ..
Mainly suitable for lower and narrow transporters, as tracks meander through some lower bush and trees, but enable you to avoid high trees and enjoy some solitude ..
