Your 17.55-3 Journey Outback has both the kitchen and ensuit at the rear. You have requested a grey water tank.. Correct. Yes.
The tank can only be fitted towards the front of the van to correctly balance it, which will add to the tow ball weight. Unless you have a vehicle that can take the extra weight they cannot fit it.
( Wouldbe buyers be warned before ordering the type you want, that the cars tow ball weight will handle it, or you could become disappointed with no GW tank.)
What will you be towing the van with? My 200 GX cruiser. Not a problem then. Their computers will do the rest.
I hope they factor in water gravity, if we don't level the van right or it may become a smelly problem in the bathroom if the water doesn't get away quickly enough or not at all.
They did not say by how much extra ball weight when empty .

It'll be cheap to run - you and Lambie sitting on their CAD software - have to drink an extra bottle of your $5.99 red Jim !!!!! hahaha
Oh and my red is a clean skin soft red from Dan Murphys - genuine glass bottle - $4.99 a bottle or $4.50 for a 6 box - so I buy 6 boxes lol. Bet it tastes better than your cheapie - will have to compare when we catch up next year

Jim, I put two caps of that no name nappy sanitizer stuff in the basin, disolve it and while that is disolving I close the valve on the grey water tank then flush the water from the basin into tank, let sit in there for 24hrs and let go. All good for about 2 weeks when I repeat the procedure.

Change from Red wine to White mate.

I really can't see how fitting a grey water tank at the back would unbalance it, after all when you first take off it would be empty, as you use water then yes the majority of water would move to the grey tank after it's evacuated from a sink/shower, but some would be used, ie drunk. The point is here the only additional weight is the tank itself & some brackets & hoses/pvc pipes which doesn't weigh that much, maybe 10kg max and that's being generous. Apart from that their calculations should factor in extra weight in the cupboards with the kitchen at the rear. I think their just being lazy and feeding you some BS to avoid doing the extra work.

The BS could be right, or there may not be the space to keep it up high enough as its semi off road. I want as much clearance so I don't get it hung up when we exit over the road shoulders to our next free camp.
Up until this year they did not supply GW tanks, but demand has changed all that.
We had a Kimberly camper that went were we went. (Sold).
But as we are retiring with our ageing bodies we want those little extra's and still do what we love on our advertures.
I will still have to add a few extras to protect the pluming to be on the safe side after we collect it.

My budget allows my current favorite red "Cat Amongst The Pigeons" Cab Sav by the single bottle. But that makes me drink less. One a fortnight is my limit (except on special occasions). A big change from my bottle a day habit of several decades.
As we don't bush camp the grey water storage is not a problem, but I have a design using the 100mm pipes and Hepvo valves approach should the need arise & as we don't do dirt roads, neither is clearance an issue (except perhaps in bad servo driveways like the Woolworths one at Cloncurry.

Cupie - this is right off topic - but you mention servos.....
Servos are one of my hot buttons as so many have their diesel pumps in place you cant get your rig alongside of or their air hoses in similar places.
Went into a new Caltex (opened about 2 months earlier) in NSW. The pumps ran at right angles to their shop and the turn between the end of the pumps and shop was so tight I wouldn't have been able to get around. The air hose was between a retaining wall and the shop so you couldn't pull up alongside it. And they had about 800 sq m of grass in front of the servo - just terrible design and no thought for those driving anything bigger than a Getz
