Fire has been threatening Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory, with a blaze coming within 15km of the town.

Just came through their yesterday & last night. Could see the smoke columns on the horizon 100kms before we got to the fires.
Country has been burnt out in very large patches all the way to Mataranka & not much rainfall so far this wet season.
