Sorry Pauline haven't stayed there but I checked out Wiki Camps. No bad reviews. Appears there are some permanents. Pet Friendly, Clean & Friendly and appears to have all the necessary facilities. Reasonable price for close to Gold Coast @ around $35pn powered.

This C.P. is a fair way from the sand surf. Back about 30 years ago one could get bookings into plenty of C.P right on the beach front. Sadly the value of the land has seen theses icons disappear. We use to stay at a great Park in Runaway Bay right on the water. This park had allocated space for 3 units, namely your caravan then your car then your boat & Trailer. All three alongside each other.
They certainly catered for the vannie and boatie enthusiasts.
We spend many school holidays in this park. Sadly Gone forever.

We are not going unfortunately for the sun and surf, hubby working there so could be there for at least 5 months, we also have a dog and the Xmas holiday period to contend with, just thought someone here may have had personal experience.

Just a quick update, we have been at this park for 3 weeks now, everything that is on wiki camps is true, very quiet and one of the most spotlessly clean parks we have stayed in even though it is mostly permanents, and just 7 kls from Nerang, definitely a great place to base yourself.
