This is a good spot for a day or two or just as an overnighter. There is no time limit for camping.
There are flushing toilets and cold showers. There is tank water for use by campers - dependent on rain obviously. There was both water in the tank AND rain when I was there.
There are free electric BBQs for use by campers. Pets are allowed 'under control'. There is no dump point BUT there are no grey water restrictions either.
There is weak, and intermittent, mobile and internet coverage (Telstra 3G)
There is room for big rigs but there is probably only space for about a dozen vans if it gets busy.
There is a donation box attached to the Welcome sign - however, typically, it seems to not be sufficiently visible for the majority of users to drop a coin into.
I had a talk to the bloke who clears the box and he is philosophical about it ... but they have invested $120,000 into the facilities over the past two years and would like to get some recognition of, and return on, that investment.
