One of the main routes between Perth and Esperance is closed after a road train rolled overnight.
The driver of the heavy haulage vehicle was taken to Ravensthorpe hospital with minor injuries after his vehicle tipped over on the Brookton Highway at 2:00am.
The highway is shut to all traffic between Beatty and Hayes roads until a crane can be brought in from Kalgoorlie.
Main Roads spokesman Andrew Duffield said they were working with the Shire of Ravensthorpe to establish which roads might be suitable to take diverted traffic.
"They've had some rain out there obviously in recent days, and the roads aren't in terribly good condition at the present time," he said.

Down here in Esperance at the moment & intending to head that way today. Took the old road from Hopetoun to Esperance yesterday in the constant drizzle & rain, Coaster is a few kilo's heavier with all the mud & gravel were carrying. Roads aren't too bad but will chop up quickly with extra traffic.

If they are bringing a crane all the way from Kalgoorlie, I wouldn't expect the road to be reopened for quiet some time, especially if it's raining down there,
Might pay to lay up somewhere and take it easy for a day or so,

All cleared now, on the way to SA atm, biggest issue is the rain, just don't pull onto the shoulder as some road trains have done, wheels sinking to the axle on the very soft shoulders.
