I'm about to head off to explore this great country of ours and was looking at buying a Projecta Solar Panel kit, the panel folds up and seems convenient as far as space goes, I'm looking for some feedback from anyone who has used these type of panels. Thanks
We've had Projecta 120W folding solar panels for the past 4 years. We spend a total of around 6 months per year away in our van, they've been great. We've got the older, heavier, more expensive ones (16kg). We saw a comparison of panels in a caravan magazine early this year & the Projecta's that we have came out on top. I think there are some lighter Projecta ones around in the last year or two, got no idea how good they are. We also use a Projecta Pure Sine Wave inverter, it's been good as well. Solar Panels have come down in price considerably since we bought ours. Enjoy your travels.
