the polly waffle is making a come back

From the "bring back the polly waffle" face book.

Was anyone just watching Today on channel 9? There was a bit about the Polly Waffle! They mentioned it's coming back, but then referenced The Great Aussie Waffle Log, which is actually the new chocolate that's about to be released.

yummy - I'll be eating it!!

I absolutely LOVED Polly Waffles! They were 'to die for'! My mouth is salivating even thinking of them. Hurry up and bring them back! :P

I may be wrong but over the years I seem to remember three variations, Or is it as I grew older and more discerning have I become more critical?

The original first one was long and thick and I am sure the best I seem to remember that version two was the same length but thinner. Then came the last one and it was shorter as well as thinner. I'm pretty sure I'm right when I say the all three tasted slightly different as well. Not a lot of difference but the early one seemed sweeter and had thick mashmellow

It will be interesting to see how this one is presented.

Sorry to say that it looks a little different and will only be sold in selected butique like shops or on-line. Bugga, hey.

Prolly waffles - yummy. I also liked screwball ice creams. Does anyone else remember them.  The lime one. There was either a chocolate round lolls at the bottom or a round bubble gum. I liked the bubble gum and was always felt hipped if I got the chocolate one. Having a good day now just thinking how yummy they were. Rocket n strop
