Thought you could only stay there if you were with a caravan club.
Is it open to the caravanning/motorhome public again ?
Gday...
... I'm with you, Bill
I was on the Peninsula for 5 weeks about 4 weeks ago and was only allowed to stay at a van park ... the showgrounds was only taking vans with pets and/or buses and 5th-wheelers that could not fit into either of the two van parks.
Can you elaborate Rocket & Strop ?
What's the deal ... has Council changed their attitude/caretaker?
[edit: each van park was close to chockers ... and never more than three big rigs in the showgrounds during my whole stay on the Peninsula]
Cheers - John

Hi, Strop is ill and being treated at Redcliffe Hospital. in and out of hospital. I gave them a letter from the hospital and asked could we stay. they applied to council for us and they said yes. otherwise, there is a sign at the caretakers office that says closed but there is a phone number on the fence. there is another person here but their car is being repaired. the caretakers are away and lovely lady from the show society is filling in. it is her number that is on the fence at the caretakers home. I really don't know anymore about what is going on. regards. rocket n strop
