what is the best time to visit longreach

Hi all we are going to head up to Charleville up to longreach then winton and over to Townsville

We are thinking of leaving in march 2016

Is that a good time of the year

and what is there to see in these places please

We will be on the road for about 3 months

We've spent a lot of time "out there"  .. your timing is impeccable for that trip.

The best concise advice I can give you is check and look around this website ..

We go to Longreach each April.....late March is good.

Went to Longreach last June very good time, days warm nights cool ? & they have lots of entertainment things on at Van parks etc
