OK what happened, it is only 10 pm over here in WONDERFUL WA, and everybody has gone to sleep because of that stupid rubbish called DAYLIGHT SAVING. I reckon DAYLIGHT WASTEING would be more accurate. Day Light Saving is a load of that stuff Cows and Bulls leave lying around. In the modern world, the trend is to tidy things up, not make life more complicated. West Aussies know what the time is, and the EASTERNERS keep struggling to know whether it is 1pm or 2pm. Come on let's bring Australia up to the rest of the world.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Actually I am only stirring, but wait with Baited breath, HIC.

Hate it! Many many years ago when first trialled in QLD our children (in the country) were getting ready to catch school buses in the dark!

Hmmm! You better check how many countries in 'the rest of the world' also choose to have daylight saving. You may be surprised.

Tis good if you live in the Southern states cause the daylight hours vary dramatically from summer to winter but as one goes north it does not vary as much

 

hence the angst against daylight saving it all depends on your Lattitude not attitude

I posted this testerday.  It's now one page back.

Damned stupid !!!   We don't need it in this country.  Northern Hemisphere thing that is fine  there, [ I have lived there, so I know the reasoning,]  but, as I said, STUPID for us.

I hate daylight saving not good when you have to get up at 4:30am to drive an hour to work dodging bloody Kangaroos then come home and it's still 40 degrees at 7:00 pm, & then there's kids on buses that get on in the dark. Leave it to NSW, that is Newcastle, Sydney & Wollongong! They who live in the city think that's out west.

It plays hell with my solar panels, now we are losing an hour of sunlight in the morning I'm not making as much electricity.

  I don't think we actually have Daylight Saving here in WA.  Am I reading this wrong or Sommat ?
