Introducing Mini Me

I live at Romsey Vic and once a year we have a town garage sale. One house I went to had this 1970's Chesney Kampa GT  out the front with a sign "free to good home" which had fallen off and was hard to see, I asked the person is this for real? He confirmed it was so I took it home, the wife"s reaction was typical, how much? why did you buy it? Another bit of junk. Her reaction changed when I told her it was free.  I wish I have taken a pic of it before i cleaned it up, it was covered in moss and absolutely filthy on the outside,

The canvas area over both beds was rotten but the rest of it was in good nick. What i love about fibreglass it is so easy to clean and also tough and easy to repair.

Here are some pics.

This is the canvas after I replaced the two ends, came up real good.

All the cushions are there and in good condition, they will be thoroughly washed and should come up great.

There is not much more to do, replace the wood in the lid and refit new velcroe  and then I can field test him.
