 Just a warning to anyone planning to visit this lovely popular free camping area. A few groups of our ''indigenous friends'' getting up to no good & things going missing. They were camped in cheap 2 man tents but packed up & resorted to hanging around in their cars ''doing nothing'', sussing out who had left their vans & gone into town. Police took one away in ''divvy van''. No! I'm not a racist in fact I'm very interested in their culture & art as well as advocating any possible improvements to their lifestyle. As with any race a few ''bad eggs '' taint the rest.

Moved to Warren yesterday heading for Bourke. Don't leave any gear lying around unattended or it'll be gone as quick as a wink. Keep you eye out for an old Metallic Grey Tarago & a Red AU Falcon sedan parked near the amenities block. They hang around doing nothing except that they keep going in & out of town about 10 times a day. Apparently someone had half a tank of fuel syphoned out of their vehicle. I was also warned by a local bloke who knows the culprits.
