Oh what a couple of long tiring travelling days. Sat morn we were on a coach to Dover. A few idiots (National Front I think they were called) decided to hold a demo In Dover so the police closed roads & there we were in a long convoy of trucks & tour buses stuck. Our ferry went without us & we eventually got a later one. From Calais we headed north through France, then across Belgium & then into Holland where we spent the night at Maastricht. Arrived at our hotel 10.45pm. Next am we headed east across Holland & then across Germany & into Czech Republic - to Prague. Got to hotel 8pm. One couple on our tour left a coat on the seat in a Hungry Jacks where we stopped (in Germany) & I coat pocket was their passport & phone. Didn't miss it until we got to Prague. They phoned their phone number & got an answer from a staff member at Hungry Jacks & they had the coat safe At great expense today they have sent a taxi back 400 kms into Germany to collect coat etc Hope they have good travel insurance. Today we did a walking tour of Prague. Lots of very old interesting buildings. We walked from 9am until 1pm. Here I am back in hotel room a slightly worn out GN. Krakow (Poland) tomorrow!! Cheers to all GNs & please keep safe on the road. Alice
Glad to see you are enjoying your trip, Alice and Keith, my brother and his wife have just been to Prague and lots of other places, they loved it!
Take care!

Internet was a bit hit or miss on the coach, now in hotel with good cnnection.
We are present at Perugia on a Best of Italy coach tour until Saturday then we head back by train to our son and wife home in Innsbruck Austria until mid November with out any real plans. We tell people we are living in Austria not holidaying.
The weather here going to be 33 cel tomorrow and what we have seen on this tour so far has been very good, a really refreshing young 25 year old tourer director who goes by the name of Kathleen, very entertaining young lady. Knows her stuff with a sense of humour.
As with al, tours you see lots of things, interesting things, Romeo and Juliette balcony, Venice with the boats, amazing coast line and more to come.
But beware there is some very unreal people out there just waiting to strip you of your personnal stuff, wallets, bags aand passports. Be cery careful, no extremely careful.
I am not going to rave on about what we have seen or been involved in but we werebeing careful but they are smarter and desperate. Ralph.
