WA Wldflowers/Wreath Flower

We are currently parked up at Mingenew part of WA's Wild Flower Country and part of the wheat belt. In fact it is the largest inland grower fed recieval facility in the Southern hemisphere with capacity of $403,000 tons. However back to the real story, we have been working our way back to Perth coming down the Great Northern Highway until we turned right at Mount Magnet. Then headed west to Yalgoo, Pindar and Mullewa.
Hang on to the little village name of Pindar.

This is just a small sample.

Hi John & Jenny,

We have looked for the Wreath Flower many times.Never have we come across one like the one's in your photo's.

We will be over this time next year. Can you give a more detailed area to track down to view. We love the wild Flowers.

Regards Jim & Lambie

The WA wildflowers are spectacular this year due to winter rains, we drove down from shark bay two weeks ago in a mass of everlastings, currently in Kalbarri and lots of flowers around here too, will be in Moora Sunday, where I expect it will be also a good year.

Thanks for the great pics, we were too early for them this yr but they remind us of our 08 trip.

Thanks. JC.

Beautiful pictures.   We have a trip there planned for this time next year, now I'm feeling jealous it isn't this year.

JohnR,

Never heard of or seen a wreath flower before, it is gorgeous. Thank you for all the photos.

I love wreath flowers! Apparently they like to grow in disturbed ground such as mined areas or road-base dumps. We saw some on the Tibooburra - Broken Hill roadside. Nothing as beautiful as the ones pictured here though.
