Dose anyone have one of the old spring mounted / DASH mounted hand waver still in use.
I tried on flea bay, to find one a while back and nelly fell of my perch. $$$ collectors only. I think need apply.
Looks like Lambie's not retired and still gamefully employed for now.
I suggested one of those sets of doubles thingies, that hang from one's towbar that you see from time to time. To put around our rearview mirror. Did not go down well at all.
They are probably illegal as they are in the drivers line of vision and their movement could distract the drivers attention and attract Constable Plod's attention.
You possibly could have a nodding dog in the rear window.
Man, I have enough distractions in the passengers seat alone, what with those knitting needles going back and fourth, and ball of wool floating around.( You Thought I was going to say Lambie then.)
To have to worry about a Itsy Bitsy little hand waver up the dash.
See I have to keep both hands on the steering wheel at all times for safety. Happy 28th anniversary Lambie
That's why I keep the BOSS with me - she waves at all the other RV's for me because I get sick and tired of those who cant be bothered waving back (and theres more and more of them on the road) - it also means Ive got both hands on the steering wheel if the road necessitates it. The BOSS also keeps a running tally of the type of RV that she sees when we're on the road - no idea why, but happy wife, happy me (well, apparently lol)

I always thought that it ws a caravan hates motorhome thing ,we waved to everyone on our trip up the Centre and as usual got ignored by many ,I did mention to yvonne that one of those hands would be handy .
My wife used to wave a Fly Swatter as she is always swatting flies, so she uses it as a waver.
We were in Spotlight and I found a section of Paper Mashe things and one was a hand. I bought it and went to a Craft shop and bought a small tube of Flesh Tone paint and painted it. I screwed a small stick to it and now she has the perfect Waver. She is going to put nail polish on it now.
