Very nice town with several free camps along the Gwyder River.

Tourist info in main street ( next to Roxy Theatre) have good mud maps to the camps.

We are on the north bank to the west of the bridges. Not as busy as the camps on the south banks.

Dump point & fresh water just inside the showgrounds.( No camping at showgrounds)m_Gwyder river camp.jpg

7 days maximum stay.

Beaut spots close to the water.

Yeah, it is a beauty.

If you take the road out towards Inverell, there is several kilometres of sites along the river where people camp too.

And a damn good little town. Great meals at the RSL.
