New free camp at show grounds opp school , 20 mins to hervey Bay ,5mins to Howard with all  the shops for the most supplies and 20 mins to Burrum Heads . not listed yet not sure of hours.

I gather that you are referring to Torbanlea Racecourse . It's in Wiki Camps and it is a great place to stay. Plenty of room, little noise and clean toilets. The Caretaker is very helpful. Go and enjoy. Been open for a while now. It's $5 no power with toilet use. $5 extra for a shower key.

We drove past the Torbanlea site this morning, their are a lot of campers their.

 

This site is in Camps 8, #133 Qld.
