Advice needed (Quobba Station)

Hi everyone

Hoping you can help with advice on staying at Quobba Station. Can generators be used and what is it like? Camp book doesn't give many details.

Any help appriciated

Not sure about Quobba Station, but at the Blowholes at Quobba, the charges are $11 pp, pernight. Senior/pensioner $8. There is no fuel or water supplies at Quobba and limited Telstra coverage at the Station.
I went for a drive out there the other day and the camp ground at the blowholes looks great. Dump points and toilets there. I believe that the trick here is to camp a little further down the track from where the majority of people are. The sites are large and easy to get larger vans into. This advice comes from friends who were there last week. Pets are allowed as long as on a leash. Firewood must be collected before going in.

I hope this helps a little. Like I said cannot really help you with the station as the people I have spoken to have only camped at the Blowholes and not the station.

No mobile phone, internet or water at the blowholes, very windy, other than the crowded area it's quite a walk to the toilets & dump points. BYO water wood and power. about 70 Km to town.

I camped there about a year ago Madcart, they have both powered and unpowered sites, I'm not sure about the generators though (I haven't checked the link here) but can't see any reason why not, some sites are well away from others.   Good toilets and showers, much preferred there to the blowholes campsite.    Good limestone road (only a few kms) into the Station along the coast, bitumen in up to the blowholes.   Don't forget to check out the Sydney memorial there (where some of the German sailors landed) on the way into the Station, whichever camp spot you choose.
