Gudday all, I have tried SEARCH but no joy, do we have any reports on the Hot Tap portable instant hot water unit??? Or any any similar units.

Thanks

You mean this type?  http://www.heyprestoinstantho****er.com.au/hey-presto-systems/ ?

I can't see the specs here but I did look at these awhile ago but the flow rate was so low it would be almost useless.  Turned fully on the water was cool, to get HOT water the flow had to be reduced to a trickle.

http://www.joolca.com.au/hottap  this is the fella I was asking about... found him at Award RV in Ferntree Gully and had not seen it before.  As I don't have a hot water service or a heater I am looking at the options.... though a two in one could be a good thing I have ready some mixed reviews about the unwanted HWS heat during summer.  And on my reckoning I can buy two separate units for less than one combo.  And then along comes this new toy....  just asking...

Ontos, not a lot of difference.... had half an idea about installing this thing in a box on the rear bumper for an outside shower... along with the shower bits... and just plumb it full time.  no need to cut holes in the van etc....

I am guessing it is fairly new on the market... as it caused no comments here. Might need to investigate further
