Rorting Taxpayers....

This is not talking politics per se' as it is not directed at one particular person or party, there are some (many?) from all parties involved with their heads in the trough.

What is bugging me is it seems that all these pollies seem to think they have to do to justify their spending of tax payers dollars ferrying their families around Oz business class is saying "I worked every day", or they don't see their families much otherwise.

What a joke, with all the other occupations we have in Oz who have to travel away on business that don't take their family with them.  Imagine if FIFO workers refused to fly in/out unless their family went with them as an extreme example.

I am getting sick of these greedy pigs trying to justify family jollies at our expense. furious

THE END OF THE AGE OF ENTITLEMENT

ADDRESS TO THE INSTITUTE OF ECONOMIC AFFAIRS

LONDON

17 APRIL 2012

JOE HOCKEY MP

"Let me put it to you this way: The Age of Entitlement is over."

And speaking of pigs ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_Farm

The pigs start to resemble humans, as they walk upright, carry whips, and wear clothes. The Seven Commandments are abridged to a single phrase: "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others".

Our soldiers families would love a holiday when our boys are on deployment for longer periods than when pollies are in Canberra. They even tried to take the once a year trip home for single soldiers off of them even though most time it was done in a herc. Jackie Lambie stood up for the soldiers and won.One of the few times i have agreed with her but then i don't have a large package.

The military are a bunch of ungrateful whingers. How can they justify a 1% pay hike when they have so many perks? They get to fly in helicopters to exotic destinations like Iraq and Afghanistan all at the taxpayer's expense. That makes a short hop to some boring fundraiser look like bus fare.

Yes, please try to keep this thread open by limiting personal abuse. Thanks for your cooperation.

Donedreamin - Like your first post and so true, won't comment on the second one about head coverings etc but can you delete it (just edit and wipe out the wording or amend it somehow) so this thread doesn't get dumped please.

This article does mention some by name but it is not by members, but worth reading;

Problem with this they won't let you bomb or shoot the crap out of them unless it's cleared from the rear HQ .Takes all the fun out of flying combat missions  need to go up full come back empty otherwise you are wasting fuel , if it's out there then it's fair game .

Now we have ex and retired pollies wanting unlimited travel and pension hike , so it doesn't stop when they leave "OUR" service. I apply the term  service  very loosely
