Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem. The pressure valve on the water inlet was stuffed, no water pressure at all. After replacing the valve all was good for about 6 months. Now I have another problem, every now and then there is no water at all. It appears there is a back pressure and the only way to fix it is disconnect the hose and reconnect it again. Then its all good for a while.

Neil, there is a fine gauze filter no the inlet side of valve. Screw the hose inlet fitting off and you will see the filter. Had to do mine again the other day. So put my BEST inline filter in place.
Hope this fixes the problem.

We're having the same problem with our water, we pulled the valve out and cleaned it, put it back, good for a day or so then back to just a dribble. Going to take it into jayco tomorrow to see if they know what the problem is. Very frustrating.

What happens is, fine grit builds up on gauze and then when you disconnect the hose and release the pressure, a small amount of water flushes some of the grit off. Well that's what seemed to happen to me anyway. Every time it is black grit.
The first time it blocked, I pulled the whole valve apart and only kind of found the gauze filter by accident.

Being an older van (2006) evidently the valve they used back then has proven to fail and we had to buy a new beaut one. Cost $102 but at least we can have a shower now
