Cherry blossom is flowering, to us that signifies that Spring isn't too far away.

Indeed. I am in Perth too and it is ...well what it is .. that time of year.

Let me rally your spirits by reminding you that the days are drawing out and hold out a glimpse of deliciously hot Summers past and stinkers to come  ..

Ahhhh yes, tropical Townsville. What can I say?

Oh! I know, beautiful one day and um? Beautiful the next again and again.

One can't complain, two or more can't either.

Nights 11c - 15c. Days 25c - 28c. Both this last week. Very little wind and no rain.

Nice indeedy and I tell you that for free.

I will talk to the weather gods and see if they will turn the knob up down south ready for my arrival there late Setember/early October.

If you don't like the seasons, come up the NT, hot N sweaty for 8 months of the year, then hot N dry & full of nomads for the remaining 4.

We have stayed home in the Blue mountains during Winter for the first time in seven years and have had snow followed two weeks later by a large Bushfire that rattled along for a week, next year definitely out of here to where its warmer I had forgotten how cold it can get here and I am on the Sydney side of the mountains dont know how those up the top handle the cold.

Rocket, I have been coming here for 11 years all up and the winter weather is always spot on. The last 3 years have spent all winter here. Niiiiice.

Unless it's cold or wet of course biggrin Which is not much at all to us southerners. The locals think it is cold though, silly billies biggrin

We enjoy the 4 seasons of the year back here in Melbourne. Sometimes we get them all in one day! LOL.

Part of our mission statement of being a grey nomad is to experience what it is like away from where we have lived all our lives.

Since starting our drive in 2011, we have had winter in queensland in 2011, flinders ranges in 2012, south coast west aust in 2013, and darwin 2014. Decided time to try somethung different, so this winter in the alpind region of victoria.

Just loving australia and all thst she throws at us.
