What does the towed vehicle's towing capacity have to do with anything? Are you sure that should not read towed vehicle's weight (in some form)?

For NSW registered vehicles see NSW Guidelines for A-frame towing, VSI41 revision 2 effective 1st Nov 2007.

I think it could be the same for other states.

Sorry didn't proof read well enough, just missed some words. Not towed vehicle towing capacity but rather "regardless of the towing vehicles towing capacity".

key part of the issue is the State of perpetual excitement... The Left Hand state government(s) have taken it upon themselves to go it alone and not join the rest of the country who are adopting (cant think of proper term) the same legislation for road rules to make life the same regardless of borders.... but not them....

Often the trick is a major hurdle if you are visiting from a more enlightened state...

(have a look at Log Books/driving hours/club registration etc as well....)

The sun rises later over there, perhaps that's the reason.?
