Stuart Highway has been reopened after another four wheel drive towing a caravan has come to grief. What is it with this 2km stretch of road that has so many caravan rollovers???
All seem to be out of state vehicles & we get 3-5 every dry season in the same location, road is in reasonable condition, duel lane going slightly down hill with a left hand curve before heading uphill into Coolalinga.
Red 4X4 & van totally destroyed, occupants in hospital with minor injuries however locals are looking for 2 missing dogs they had with them, ran off after the crash.
Please drive carefully when you come to visit our wonderful NT, we don't want you remembering your trip for the wrong reasons.

Maybe off cue but is it in a 130 kph zone, where I am up near Katherine most seem to be like myself and travel at the 90-95 kph but u get the odd one that wants to break records. 110 in my mind is to fast towing a van ever lone faster. Like a say I maybe off cue might not be speed at all not knowing the full story on it. Hope they are ok and the dogs are found ok as well.
