Kayaks are very popular with caravanners these days so I thought that this site may be of interest.

Although it is a USA publication, I think that many of the manufacturers have Australian outlets.

There is a link to inflatables there too.

I have never tried either inflatables or fold ups but it seems that they are becoming an efficient alternative and perhaps worth a look.

Although I have a couple of Viking SOT Yaks & am extremely pleased with them, if I were looking for another, I would consider either a Hobie Sit On Top or bite the bullet & go for one of the many Sit In Kayaks (SINKS)  .. a very light weight one of course.
