Magic happened it did work, I can angle it on both sides

Thanks for the members that gave me some advise

Exactly the set-up I had mind. I found a site on the net, where you enter your location, month of the year and the angle of the solar panels. At this time of the year June July, according to this program, the difference in power generated by a panel going from 0' (flat) to 43' (angled) was 100%. Of course as the sun moves higher in the sky, mid summer the effect is not as great.

We have a solar panel on the roof of our ute.

Charges a deep cycle battery in a box on the back. ( The back of the ute is closed in with purpose built checker-plate alloy boxes.)

Can plug in another panel on legs to move with the sun.

Set-up works a treat for us.m_IMG_2820.jpg
