BlazeAid is again back at Julia Creek in north-west Queensland. We were here this time last year and ran a very successful Drought Relief operation for several months. We hope to be in Julia Creek until the end of August. Volunteers go out and live on the properties in their vans/motor homes and do 'odd jobs. There is no heavy work. We ask for a one week commitment but you can stay as long as you like. You will have a powered site and use of a shower and toilet if you don't have them on board. It's a very worthwhile experience. This drought stricken area has not seen rain for years and there are a lot of families doing it tough. BlazeAid volunteers keep these people company, try to lift their spirits and just be there for them. Give me a call on 0428 984-117 if you want more details. Brian C, Co-ordinator
