Hi all;

       Try a couple tablets of Milton into each tank and leave over night, drain and refill tanks a couple of times to get rid of the tast as it may take a few flushes. other member may have a better idear.

I haven't had the problem as yet but have heard if you put a bottle of Milton Bottle Wash in the tank, fill it up and leave for a few days it might help. If you are travelling, drive a round for a couple of days to get movement happening. Then rinse a couple of times.

Worth a try anyway.

Keep Safe out there.

Hi you haven't told us what hose you used to fill your tank I hope it wasn't with a normal garden hose because then you may have bad tasting water

I add a cup of bicarbonate of soda.. Leave over night then drain . Fill with GOOD. Hose water while tap is still on to flush system.. After 5 / 10 minutes turn off inside tap.. Then a bit of Milton ..

Do this after its been stored for some time , or normal spring clean ..

Hi, if the " proper " hose was a pope food grade from Bunnings then you will have a bad taste the same as a garden hose. Happened to me, did the Milton thing, drained it, filled it up on a hot sunny day, same plastic taste, it was the food grade light blue soft hose from Bunnings that was the problem. Changed to a hard blue hose no problem.

Let the water run out hose for a few minutes ?
Before filling tank.. Hot sun doesn't help..
