The WA Police changed their name from WA Police Force to WA Police Service some years back, the WA government reckoned the word "Force" sounded too aggressive so changed it to "Service", now it's just Western Australian Police.......go figure....

Add Quarantine to that and give the Coastal surveillance back to the ADF and not some O/S contractor who flies a scheduled service up and down the coast like a joy flight , its so routine trawler captains set their watch by the fly over. Boarder protection is a laugh in the North West there are small settlements of INDO fishermen camped up the inlets complete with chooks ,pigs, dogs and whole families , just to big to do from the air needs boots on the ground to track them down once spotted from the air .
