have you tried googling it? May have to try various word comos - like "caravan repairers" or "caravan repairs"

don't forget to add the area - Cairns or if no luck go for Queensland - "caravans repairers in Cairns".....

just had a quick look on google - "caravan repairs in Cairns" - heaps of companies in your area and most will do pre-purchase inspections. Price will be about $250-350 if you take the 'van to them, otherwise they will go to the sellers address and charge you about $50 or so more

Make sure you find out what they actually inspect - should include the van generally (damage, water leaks etc), axle(s), tyres, suspension, electrical, gas.

You should be there to make sure they do a decent inspection - one that's better than you could do !!

Thanks for your reply.

I could do a proper inspection if I was in the area, but I am in the northern Brisbane area and was asking for a friend.

He has already "GOOGLED" and has probably come to the same conclusion of companies that you have.

The reason I asked, was that there may have been someone in the Cairns area that could have been able to recommend a local company.
