Could anyone please advise me as to what is the difference between Nappisan vs. Solid Tablets vs. Liquid Chemicals.Particularly in relation to weakening the seals
Hi John and welcome to the Forum. We look forward to many questions from you and also suggestions and great places you visit as well.
The question you ask has been flogged to death (not meaning to be rude to you as you wouldn't know). Have a look at the top of this page. There is a blue horizontal line with the word "search" in the middle of the line. Click on the word and then type in various key words - like napisan, camec, Thetford, toilet cleaning etc. You will nod off to sleep with the amount of posts and the wildly different views on what you should use.
Its like you vote Labour or Coalition - there are two main sides to your question. One swears by napisan (or the cheaper nappi wash from Woolies) with some essential oil to hide the odours because its cheap and the other side who use a wide range of more expensive made for the job products. We are on the latter side and use Camec blue Porta Pak capsules available from camping shops and caravan dealers.

We have used woollies boost for the past 2 years with no issues, by about the end of the second day we get a little on the nose but then its empty time anyway.
Cheers

A big thank you to all who responded particularly Bruce and Bev,who showed me how to use the site to advantage. I have now read 55000 recipes for Cassette Toilets (a slight exageration) so now realise how important the site can be for newbies. To those who welcomed me onboard - THANK YOU - I will become an avid follower.
