Well it was dry this year during the "wet". Up there for the cyclone in late Feb and glorious days with little rain. Just saw a few drops on way back around Rolleston
Ok check this out as a plausible theory e=mc2 therefore: scotch is filtered through peat which came from a previous ice age - drink more scotch avert the next ice age - works for me :)
Hmm....what dry season! Had a light shower in Longreach on Saturday night, but copped a bucketing at Windorah Sunday night with dirt roads further west closed. Then, another bucketing in Quilpie Monday night, and oh my goodness, coming east towards Charleville we were in the centre of a most torrential downpour with the creek at Cooladdi all but ready to break it's banks and come up over the road. Several places along the way had more water over the bridges than under them!
Edit: the storm out ran us at Mitchell last night, with another bucketing, but hey, hey, looks like a fine night at Condamine tonight!

Gotta love it hey!
Hey guys, does rum qualify, we're on our way to Katherine and son in law and me good self always enjoy a few on the breezeway under the palm trees.
Meanwhile, rain you say? Not climate change, that's a myth, just our fickle QLD weather, drove in pouring rain today from Mundubbera to Billy Weela, always on the look out for Dino's in this misty rain in the forest, haven't seen any yet, maybe need a few more rums, I'm sure they're out there!
A few dead ones, out Winton way, will be there next week. Hopefully leaving the rain behind.
