im in Katherine for a few months without my van so not camping and missing the comaraderie of the camping experience. Would love to catch up for a coffee with some Gray Nomads and share your journey. Oh dear how slack of me. I'm sorry I didn't keep check on this post. I did have a coffee and a chat with Highwayman before he headed north and it was lovely to see a friendly face. I'm so sorry I missed you Wendy, that was my fault.
I'm ok girls no van problems, I don't have the car and van here, I flew up. I'm working here for a few months. Come Friday nights when I see all the rigs pull into town I do wish I did have my van here.... This is a very busy town this time of year. The people ar friendly and I'm enjoying seeing more of the area.
I'm afraid Marj I'll be gone by the time you arrive. I'll probably head home about early August. My daughter is moving house mid August and I'd like to be there to "supervise". Or help out .
