Perth traffic - what next? Thursday I was traveling on the inside lane going south at peakish hour on the Leach hwy. And down comes a kitset motorised trike down the centre between the traffic. It was quite big, had a alloy cover over the riders legs, he must have been in a reclining position. If I was to buy a three wheeler car could I do that, what's the difference.
Perth drivers don't know what a solid centre line is, two solid lines is for them, double the puzzle a single white line is. The road markings are all up the creek. The drivers don't know how to merge or go around roundabouts.

I live in Perth and what you wrote is so true, I reckon WA drivers are the worst in the country.

As a born & breed West Aussie who has travelled all states (Except Tassie) I'm sure WA has the countries worst drivers, as you say cannot merge and no idea at roundabouts. We recently followed a two person police car along the Forrest H/way and into Mandurah about 20Km all up. It was a mystery how the driver ever got a licence. There needs to be major education programs on poor driving habits. The RAC and Govt should be airing TV adds at news times every night on some of the common faults. A real bad one is people turning from and into 2 lane junctions where they cross from one lane to the other. At a cross road this is especially bad for people turning into the junction from the opposite direction. That's only one of many errors, that the police car also made.
W.A s a great place to live and drive born 53 years ago and still going, at least we do not sit in the left hand side to turn right ???? as they do in one state????
every state has it problems with drivers ,no one is perfect

Life is like a toilet roll, the closer you get to the end, the faster it goes.
Every state have their bad drivers on the roads. Ones that annoy me are those who are first in line at lights and go into shock (or are picking their nose, looking at themselves in the mirror, playing on the mobile etc) when the lights turn green, eventually move off and only them or maybe one get through the lights.
You forgot to mention how offended they get if you toot your horn to wake them up. Out the window goes the hand with finger extended. How dare you attitude in full flight.
