Just to let everyone know that I have deleted this thread which advertised a position available.   This post was in direct breach of our forum rules which clearly state that posts are not to be used for the purpose of advertising. Yeah - go for it Cindy. This advert especially annoyed me because she (they) were attempting to exploit vulnerable older nomads - not fair, not on - no way !!!

Steve - it was a motel in Toowoomba who wanted to pay a nomad couple $1200 a month (for the both of them and before tax = about $120 a week) and a single b/room unit to keep the outside maintained (lawns and gardens), general maintenance, man the office from 8-530pm, take all the bookings and phone calls and do the books and banking PLUS all the cleaning. No days off at all

Sadly some here thought that was a great deal - but it was total exploitation by a greedy business woman trying to take advantage of elderly and perhaps more vulnerable people.

thanks Cindy. I was disgusted that this person said they were going away for 12 months and wanted someone to work for peanuts. She was looking in the wrong place, she should have gone to the monkey enclosure at the zoo.
