Home base wanted.

Hi all, was at Greens Lake Jan/feb and loved it. Will be back around Jul. Meantime have an enquiry , am looking for a place(relocateable home preferable in a C-park) to have as a base. Somewhere along coast of NSW from around Tweed to Batemans Bay.  Even inland a bit.

You might find Coolah NSW of interest the van park there has been set up as a RV Base might be too far inland, but it is a beautiful area.

The people I spoke to where living there permanently, whenever they returned from there travels, it is set up as a manufactured home village within the caravan park.
Then there is the CMCA village in Casino that specially caters for motorhomes and caravans with provision for very large carports alongside each home suitable for the largest van or motorhome, this is well worth a look at, you can stay in the caravan park on site while looking around the village.
Cheers

Depending on your budget. Spinnakers at Belmont NSW have new and old places. For the location very reasonable. permanentlivingspinnakers.com.au/
Sunnylakes at Budgewoi have some nice places sunnylakeshores.com.au/

Need to correct you. It is the Lifestyle village attached to the Big4 C/P in Casino, 69 Light Street. We are using it as a base and it is great. Very quiet, very friendly. Worth a look.

Hi ELWYN54

If you are looking at the south coast, check out Coral Tree Lodge at Greenwell Point about 22ks out of Nowra. Sleepy little village on the junction of the Shoalhaven and Crookhaven rivers.

The park has permanent villas, semi permanent vans, and traditional camping and van sites. The friendliest lot of people you could meet.

This is my favourite C/P, right on the banks of the Crookhaven, oyster sheds next door, outstanding fishing, bowling club short walk away, and the best bit, it's a no through road so not very busy except holiday periods.
