Sunday morning at the Broome Derby intersection. All traffic in both directions, only checked us for drivers licence but did see a couple of vanners out looking at the rear end of the tugs.
On departure heard a comment from the boys; look at that for a setup.
Monday morning again just outside of Broome a again all traffic in both directions.
This time licence a breath test. Also checking chains, shackles, couplings, Brake away systems a operation of same.
Hi did say that of the brake away systems checked only 50% were working.
They had a very good look at the McHitch coupling a asked how it worked; very impressed with it a our rig.
Gave us the thumbs up.
