we were able to buy the lunch box type cooker in NSW about 4 weeks ago and of course nearly all the appropriate shops are selling the canisters..........

It was a large camping type store and when I asked them about being withdrawn and banned from sale - they said yep - but this ones were the new style and were approved (looked the same as the old ones to me)

We just make sure we use it outdoors, rather than in the 'van and don't use a pot or fry pan that is too big and in the process deflecting intense heat down onto the canister which will probably cause it to rupture and catch alight
